‘Lé Quartaette’ are Guernsey's premiere string quartet.  The quartet comprises of highly trained musicians offering music for all types of events, such as weddings, corporate functions, parties and funerals.  With a broad spectrum of repertoire, from classical to pop, Lé Quartaette perform music to suit all tastes and can tailor a perfect selection for your special event.

‘Lé Quartaette’ was founded by Sarah van Vlymen in 2012 who has a wide experience of performing with numerous string ensembles.  Born in Guernsey, she pursued her musical path as a specialist violinist to Wells Cathedral School continuing on to obtain a Performance Arts degree at Dartington College of Arts.

Keeping a local flavour to the quartet, the name ‘Lé Quartaette’ is taken from the Guernsey French Patois; 'Guernésiais', and is a simple translation for 'String Quartet'.
